Cohesion policy 2021+

Discussions are ongoing about the future of the European Union cohesion policy after the year 2020. The decisions taken in this regard will have an impact on the future of Interreg and the Alpine Space programme.

Institutions and States are publicly expressing views on the future of cohesion policy. You can find the relevant public opinion below.

At the level of the Alpine Space programme, discussions about the future have started as well: the programme has set up a task force with representatives of each partner state, which will steer the programming process towards 2021+. The task force 2021+ met for the first time in May 2019. Find out more here: www.alpine-space.eu/asp-2021+
