Summer is the time where the pace of life slows down and many people choose to spend their holidays enjoying the matchless landscapes and flavours of the Alps. Some of the AlpFoodway partners are working to involve tourists. BREL – bureau ethnographique et linguistique of the Authonomous Region Aosta Valley  is particularly active in this respect, participating in many events to show that local food is much more than something to fill one’s stomach with, carrying with it a whole world of stories, traditions and know how.

So, AlpFoodway will be present at the following events with its stand and a giant goose game to entertain children and at the same time let them learn about local food.

28-29/07/2018  Seuppa Valpelinentse (Valpelline Soup festival)- Valpelline

5/08/2018 1ère fête du fromadzo DOP (Cheese festival) - Brusson

26/08/2018  Fehta dou lar (walnut oil, boudeun festival) - Arnad

25-26/08/2018 Festa trifolle (Potato festival) - Allein – there won’t be goose game, only AlpFoodway stand

In addition, AlpFoodway project partner BREL – bureau ethnographique et linguistique of Aosta Valley organises two events under the common brand Goûter au Château.
