  • Factory of the Future Networking Brunch at Hannover Messe 2017

    bwcon and the german Italian chamber of commerce organized an event at world’s leading trade fair “Hannover Messe” to discuss potentials and challenges of Factory of the Future. Companies, science parks and policy makers from Baden Württemberg (Germany) and the Friuli Venezia Giulia region (Italy) attended the networking brunch to listen to different speakers from both countries and get a glance of their solution and opinion of Factory of the Future. *** read more ***

  • Industry workshop: “Workshop on FoF adoption in manufacturing value chain”

    This industry workshop aimed to better understand and collect data on state of the art and growth opportunities of manufacturing sector in terms of FoF practices and technologies. There were several sessions (plenary session and thematic parallel sessions).

  • Project kick-off: KMUdigital

    FHV actively participated at the project kick-off of “KMUdigital”. KMUdigital is an Interreg IBH lab and consists of 3 sub-projects. These are: i4producation, Digitale Agenda Bodensee and Nutzenbasierter Digitalisierungsnavigator. BIFOCAlps project, namely Jens Schumacher and Martin Dobler, participated at the event and got in contact with researchers, regional politicians and managers from the area of the Lake of Constance in the field of Industry 4.0 and Factory of the Future. *** read more ***

  • 1st Workshop of the National Cluster Intelligent Factory: "The intelligent factory in the national plan Industria 4.0"

    The workshop was addressed to all the manufacturing sector stakeholders to provide them with a deep overview on opportunities offered by the National Plan of the Economic Development Ministry "Industria 4.0 ". The main measures included in the Plan have been analysed, starting from incentives for digitalization of production processes, and possible industrial development areas based on 4.0 advanced technologies have been presented.     BWcon participated at the first "Industry 4.0-Tag" in Baden-Württemberg. The first “Industrie 4.0-Tag Baden-Württemberg” was a platform to talk and discuss about challenges which brings digital transformation. With speeches, lectures, discussions and workshops different facets of industry 4.0 were described and presented. Topics were “ Global trends and development and their impact to Baden-Württemberg’s industry”, “Safety and security”, “Standardization”, “Legal Conditions”, “Best Practice at Daimler”. *** read more ***
